When Markus Babbel took over the crew of predecessor Armin Veh with the VfB Stuttgart, he changed the system. Veh let Babbel play with a lozenge in the centre zone, wanted the defensive to strengthen and placed before the defense two defensive midfield players (like the German national team at the WM 2006), from whom always one switches itself on into the offensive with; the other one secures. With Hitzlsperger and Khedira Babbel for it had exactly correct occupation. Now, scarcely one year later, does not gather however with the VfB Stuttgart nearly - and Babbel thinks of a system migration. From training it can be suspected that Babbel goes away of the flat four in the centre zone, of which he was so convinced and he returns to the lozenge; in all probability already on the next play day, on coming Saturday against Schalke 04.

Here however the question arises, how occupation in the lozenge will look. For the Spielmacherposition behind the points there are some applicants. Elson would prove itself here gladly.
